Hi my name is Zan Welch and I've been married to decorated Army Veteran Bruce Welch for 39 years. Bruce was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in his neck in October 2015. His medical bills have already totalled more than $8,000 in 5 months and we are expected  to incur much more.  We are on a fixed income because we are both retired.

After several botched cancer removal surgeries in his face, removing much of his lip, nose, and ear, more extensive surgeries were needed when doctor's realized  it had spread through his lymph nodes.  Bruce has already had one removal surgery in his lymph nodes and is scheduled to have three more within the next few months.  

The money donated will go directly towards past and future medical bills including upcoming eye and facial skin cancer surgery, as well as recovery and travel bills.  Since we must travel 4 hours each way to Vanderbilt University for doctor's appointments, chemo, and surgery, travel and additional living expenses are also a burden.  Please consider donating.
