On June 16th, our dear friend Bobbi McGaugh Pearsall's rental cabin caught on fire. Unfortunately, the fire destroyed the cabin. The cabin is considered a complete loss. Sadly, her insurance company has refused to cover the loss therefore her only income is basic social security at this time. The cabin was used as supplemental income to help make ends meet.

 

Bobbi and her late husband built the small cabin. Memories were made as they put their own blood, sweat, and tears (and some laughs) into creating a modest cabin. She rented the cabin to skiers and hikers to supplement her income. Bobbi is a widow and is now dependent on social security alone which does not cover basic needs . At 82 years old, she finds herself near bankrupt and needs help to clean up the mess left from the fire (approximately $100,000 of damage).

 

Any contribution will be abundantly appreciated to help offset the cost of hauling off the remnants of the destroyed cabin. Every dollar will help Bobbi move forward after this hardship.
