Help Bob Get Home

My dad, Bob, is currently in the ICU  in Ocala, FL. He came down from Michigan for a 2-week vacation and entered the hospital on his 3rd day with, what was eventually discovered to be Necrotitzing Faciitius, a flesh-eating bacteria. After nearly losing his life to this infection, he has finally turned a corner. Bob has spent 2 weeks in the ICU, endured 4 surgeries to his arm, experienced heart stress from this illness that has resulted in the implanting of a pacemaker, and may loose some toes from the trauma of the body shutting down, for a time, from sepsis and heart stress.

Bob has many months of healing, future surgeries, skin grafts, and therapy ahead of him. His wife, Maril, needs to return home so that she can work and help pay for the hospital bills, and we need him home so that she and my brother can take care of him while he rehabs in an acute-care rehab facility. We are humbly seeking help to pay for medical transportion back to Michigan in an air ambulance, so that he does not have to stay in Florida alone, and my family can be with him during his long recovery. Insurance does not cover the cost of this transportation and costs range in excess of $20,000.00  Any support that you may be able to give would make us eternally grateful to you.
