Hello…It’s Billy!
My name is William Anderson. My friends and family call me Billy so I hope you will too! Those of you that know me, or have followed me, understand what it is that I am all about and what commitments I have made in my life. Thanks for taking the time to hear my story and consider my Campaign!
For the last 20 years, I have made it my Life Mission, "to be a committed agent of positive transformation and uplift in the lives of those in our world that are the most forgotten, marginalized and under-served; especially children and young people."
I carry out my Life Purpose with a simple commitment to Be More, Do More and Love More! I lean heavily on my Faith in God and I work hard to bring every life experience, success or failure, to bear in making me the best Servant-Leader I can be and to positively impact as many lives as I possibly can.
During this last 20 years, I have given my best to apply all of the personal and professional experience I had previously gained, in life and work, to the job of Serving Others.
My early experience and learning gained from earning my degree at Stanford University, my career as a Collegiate and professional athlete, from study in Graduate Business School and Graduate Theological Seminary and ultimately from a decade and a half as a Builder and Leader of businesses within the Microelectronics Industry, was the foundation that this last 20 years of service has been built on
All of these opportunities and experiences that were afforded me, I know, are Gifts from God. I have come to understand that when God gives us gifts, the intention is that we, in turn, give these gifts away to others. The understanding that I subscribe to is: “Love is not Love until it is Given Away”. So, for the last 20 years, I have given nearly every moment of my time, every ounce of my energy, all of my talents and most of my resources to serving the marginalized and under-served.
The focus of my work has been to go into prisons and communities across the country to teach, train and assist thousands of incarcerated men, women and juveniles and their families to turn their lives around, achieve reconciliation and become successful and productive members of their communities.
I have served thousands of At-Risk elementary and middle school-aged boys through the creation of an annual event (now entering its 13th year) called the Angel Tree Youth Football Clinic, which provides encouragement, uplift, life skills learning and relationships with hundreds of Faith-filled, high-character, former College and NFL football players who serve as mentors and role models.
I have served American War Veterans who have returned from combat stricken with PTSD by raising funds and resources for innovative programs, counseling, and supportive relationships so that they and their families can gain restoration and peace in their lives.
I have provided leadership, resources, and support and worked directly to create and grow programs so that AIDS orphans and other severely impoverished children in Central Africa can obtain an education, healthcare and holistic mentoring to improve their lives and the lives of their families and communities. 
These are some of the ways that I have been blessed to Make Love Real by Giving it Away! I have committed and will continue to commit my life to speaking, teaching, traveling, working, serving, loving unconditionally and sharing not only the message of God's Grace but the direct expression of God's Love to those that most need to hear and experience it in their lives!
The last couple of years have been an incredible period of affirmation and validation for my Mission and the work God has given me to do. Most of the validation has come from hearing the personal stories of incredibly transformed lives from many of those that I have been blessed to serve. Seeing God’s work made manifest is one of the greatest gifts we can receive! Some of the affirmation has come through recognition that I was surprised and humbled to receive; including a Jefferson Award for Community Service (known as the Nobel Prize of Public Service),
and having my Alma Mater, Stanford University, make me the namesake of annual award, to be given in perpetuity: “The Stanford Football-Billy Anderson Community Outreach Award”, which was awarded to All-American Runningback and 2015 Heisman Trophy Runner-up, Christian McCaffrey!
What a humbling blessing this has been! But this affirmation and validation have simply left me hungry to Serve More and Have a Greater Impact!
So what does this have to do with you and why am I sharing all of this? When God "expands your territory" it is expected that you also personally grow to fulfill the call. I am ready to take that step of growth and this campaign is all about fulfilling that Call!
I have received an incredibly unique and powerful invitation to achieve that next level of growth by spending the next 24 months training, studying under, traveling with, working alongside and being personally coached and mentored by one of the most well-known and impactful leaders of our time: the Great Les Brown! Yes, THAT Les Brown!
Mr. Brown is the #1 Motivational Speaker in the World; a powerful man of God who has spoken to, uplifted, taught and trained millions of people across the globe, including heads of Governments, Fortune 500 Business leaders, and ordinary folks like you and I.
I am determined to become the most effective and impactful Servant Leader that I can be! The Campaign Contributions that you provide will be utilized to support that growth and expansion in several ways:
1. Your support will assist with the cost of working and training side by side with Les (including program materials and extensive travel for speaking tours to reach thousands across the country). Les will be mentoring me to become a more effective, impactful and transformational speaker, trainer and coach.
2. Your support will help with expanding my work with disadvantaged youth through the creation of additional Youth Sports Clinics across the country (and potentially one in Africa!)
3. Your support will help me to expand my provision of tools, resources, and training to men, women, and youth who are incarcerated as well as their families and the communities that they come from and return to.
4. Your support will enable me to achieve my HUGE GOAL to reach 10,000,000 (yep, Ten Million) struggling young people and others, over the next 10 years, (under the banner of Fierce Life Now, LLC) through public speaking, writing, training and coaching with a powerful message and effective tools so that they might be inspired, motivated and equipped to achieve Joy, Happiness, Restoration, and Success in their Lives.
I am praying that I can raise at least the Campaign amount and hopefully more. I've set some "Reward Levels" but ANY amount that you can help with (whether it's $10 or $10,000) will make a big difference and be much appreciated!
