Ed & Barbara Ebmeyer are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet in your lives and they are now in need! Please help us raise enough money to help pay for a handicapped accessible minivan to transport Ed around his home state of Florida.
Ed was hit by a car at the age of 3 and paralyzed due to a Traumatic Brain Injury. His mother Barbara has spent her life caring for him. They live on a modest budget and recently their 13 year old minvan has become completely unusable. While this would cause others to be upset or resentful, Barbara & Ed continue to make the best of the situation as they always have done.
Ed maintains a busy lifestyle. He has never let his disabilty stop him from anything. He is member of the Friendship Club, The TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) Club, Card Folding Club, Bowling Club and is a 4th Degree Knight.
Due to the fact that Ed is wheelchair bound he cannot just go to a car dealership and buy a standard minivan.
The car must be modified to fit his indiviudal needs and this is a very expensive process even with the most inexpensive model car.
Two finer people you will never meet! Barbara is the mother of 7 wonderful children and she is devoted to each and every one of them. Please help this family achieve their goal so they can get a minivan that meets their very specific needs.
