With a heavy heart, we found out Alayna Magnan has been diagnosed with cancer. She has been unable to work for this past year and will likely not be able to do so for a while, which has been incredibly difficult for her and her family. She has always been steadfast in her artistry and business; consistently working hard and giving her best to give her time, talent, and compassion to everyone.
It’s been almost 5 months since we’ve seen her at the shop and we all miss her cheerful greeting as she arrives 5 minutes late to her appointment after bracing 405 traffic for an hour, her enthusiastic patience with her clients, hearing the laughter from her station and drinking coffee in the back as we talk about pastries and Survivor. Her tenacity and approach to life filled the shop and its soul. The shop has felt like its had a major piece missing without her there . We can only imagine how her family is feeling.
Every donation will go directly toward Alayna’s medical bills and living costs, giving her the space to focus on healing. Let’s show up for her.
We appreciate any support you can give and sharing awareness.<
