I am setting up the GoFundme account on behalf of my nephew Abdurahman Gemechu. Abdurahman is a young and bright second year preparatory honor student in Ziway, Ethiopia. He is well respected and liked by his school community: students and teachers for his hard work and dedication. Abduraman Gemechu is 20 years old and recently has been diagnosed with Aortic arch and descending thoracic Aortic aneurysm at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The referral board of doctors decided that Abduraman needs an urgent lifesaving open heart and lung surgery abroad.

There is no medical insurance or government sponsorship in Ethiopia to help people like Abduraman to receive a lifesaving medical treatment overseas. Its people like you and me could turn to each other for help and give Abdurahman another chance to dream about tomorrow. All the money rasied will be used towards his medical expenses.
