Help a Single Mom Facing Eviction

Hi everyone, my name is Shey, and I’m reaching out for support during an incredibly challenging time. With no family in the states to lean on, I’m turning to the kindness of strangers on the internet for empathy and support. My three-year-old daughter and I are facing the threat of eviction with a deadline fast approaching. Despite my every effort to keep our lives stable, I have exhausted every available resource, applying to every state aid program I thought I qualified for, but sadly, none were able to help due to lack of funding or strict requirements. This comes on the heels of many recent hardships, and I’m doing all I can to keep us from losing our home.

I’m set to begin work on November 18, and I’m determined to provide a stable, safe environment for my daughter and I. However, with no income until my first paycheck in December, we urgently need help to cover our past-due rent and basic bills to stay afloat. Without immediate help, we face the overwhelming fear of homelessness, a situation I'm fighting with all I have to prevent. Your support, even the smallest contribution, would be life-changing, giving us the chance to make it through this month and keep us safe.
