Nick needs your help

Please help cover mortgage, electric bills and other living expenses while Nick is continuing to recover.

15 years ago Nick was bitten by a rattlesnake and after a long and painful recovery he was diagnosed, 13 years ago, with a rare auto immune disease similar to MS or Lou Gerrigs disease. Over the years he has experienced damage to his nerves, arms, legs, hands and feet and now wears braces on both legs and one arm.

Two years ago he was approaching a stem cell transplant, and was placed on western meds for anxiety, panic attacks and issues with sleep. Gratefully the stem cell transplant was a success. Over the last year he has been tapering off of these western meds and has been suicidal and experiencing extreme anxiety and panick attacks, as the taper causes the very symtoms he was given these meds for in the first place. He has not been able to work Since May of 2017 and they have had to close his business which has left them without income.

Lisa is providing round the clock care for Nick at home as they have not found a facility that will safely oversee a taper given his prior health history. The safe taper from these meds is a slow and painful process and he will not be able to work for a long time to come.

This road has been unimaginably long for both of them with a lot more ahead. Lisa is doing her best to care for Nick, their home and three animals. She has taken responsibility for Nicks personal financial obligations, house payments and household expenses as well as the remaining business expenses and ongoing medical expenses. Last year they purchased a home with the intention of opening space for ceremonial tipi grounds and sweat lodge and their prayer is to safely come through this crisis and continue in that direction.

Please help them to support their home, living expenses and to cover medical expenses during Nick's recovery. They do not have any income right now and are relying on your prayers and support.
