David Brown Building Fire Relief

Dear Friends and all those of charitable and compassionate hearts, This GoFundMe is in hopes to support my very dear friend David Brown who's apartment building in Yonkers NY went up in flames in the early hours of this morning 3/15/2017Despite all efforts to pacify the blaze by the Yonkers Fire Dept. and first responders, the sub freezing weather conditions froze and clogged the fire hydrants and the excessive winds only fueled the fires so rapidly the entire building was decimated. This tragedy follows David's recent hospitalization from an injury and subsequent infection that almost claimed his life and kept him out of work, so in the midst of recovery and struggle, he faces this devastation without renters insurance and is now left with nothing but the clothes on his back, his home and every possession completely destroyed. Please in any way that you may find it in your heart to contribute, every bit counts.
