Help Support Zayda's Family Conquer Leukemia

Donation protected
Wed, July 26, 2023. Prosperous Rain.
Meet Zayda Rain, a recently turned two-year-old baby girl who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. It all started with a simple limp in her step, but little did we know that this innocent stumble was just the beginning of an agonizing journey. Shortly after, Zayda became immobile, and her cries of pain echoed through our hearts with every movement of her body. Desperate for answers, we rushed her to the nearby Emergency Room, where the doctors, after taking X-rays, diagnosed her with a broken hipbone. We were shocked when we were quickly transported to the renowned 'Nemours Children's Hospital', and the best minds in the field examined her X-ray images only to reveal that her bones were intact. This left us confused and even more fearful for Zayda's well-being. The following days turned into an agonizing blur as we anxiously awaited answers. Countless tests were conducted, and Zayda was admitted to the hospital.
The pain in her innocent eyes became unbearable, piercing our souls with each passing day. Finally, a Bone Marrow Biopsy revealed the devastating truth – 92 percent of the cells in her bone marrow were Leukemia cells. Since then, Zayda has embarked on a grueling journey, battling against this merciless disease. With the start of chemotherapy, we have witnessed miracles almost daily. Our brave little fighter has regained some of her strength, gradually reclaiming the ability to walk, run, and play as any child should. Yet, this is just the beginning of a long and difficult road, and our hearts are filled with both hope and unease. As her parents, we have put our lives into action to ensure Zayda receives the care she deserves. As graduates and students at Full Sail University, we have put our studies on pause and are utilizing our skill sets while we walk with our daughter through these trying times.
Zayda is not alone in this battle. She is surrounded by the unshakable support of her five older brothers, who adore her with all their hearts. Our friends and family, near and far, have rallied behind us, offering their love, prayers, and encouragement. And now, we turn to you, kind-hearted souls, who have the power to make a difference. Your contribution to our GoFundMe campaign will alleviate the overwhelming financial burden that comes with conquering this devastating disease. The doctors have noted that her treatment process will last for three years, so our goal is to cover what we can in terms of rent, travel fees (such as tolls), food costs, and the expenses associated with extended hospital stays. The least we are trying to come up with is the rent, which amounts to $2,700.00 per month, totaling $97,200 for the entire three-year period.
I firmly believe that together we can ensure my family doesn't have to face unmet needs, and with God, we can overcome anything. Thank you for your time.
Side note for those watching this page: We plan to use some of the proceeds to give back to those of you who were thoughtful enough to sacrifice something to help our family. Keep your eyes peeled, as we will be reaching back out with one-of-a-kind #GoZayda gear as a huge thank you for loving in a way that makes a difference.

With gratitude,
