My name is Yamil Maldonado, and in February 2024, I received the life-changing diagnosis of Stage 5 Kidney Failure (End-Stage Renal Disease, ESRD). This has been one of the toughest challenges of my life, but I am holding on to hope.

I am a husband, a father to a beautiful 10-year-old daughter, and a friend to many. More than anything, I want to spend more time with my family, watch my daughter grow, and continue making memories with the people I love.
