To get a companion, best friend, a service dog who can help

Hi my name is Sara Belfore. I got a traumatic brain injury from a bad car accident in 2016. I just recently got accepted to the University of Tennessee and I got an apartment. I want a companion, a dog I can take with me everywhere who can assist me with things like turning on/off lights and picking things up off the ground. To get a service dog there are a lot of programs for veterans and I’m not a veteran, and a service dog is expensive. I am raising funds to be able to get a service dog and any extra funds would go to helping my dog.Help me get a service dog..
