It is with deep sorrow and regret that I inform you all of my mom's passing in the early morning hours of May 8th. She fought long and hard to continue to get the most out of life as she could and I'm extremely grateful that I got to walk hand in hand with her through most of it. It was a true blessing.

Now I'm left with an emptiness that will never be filled. No one can replace a mother's love and boy did she love me no matter what!

I would like to have mom interned at Olivet cemetery in Colma where her father and sister have their final resting place next to each other.

If you would like to contribute so I still have a place on this earth that I feel I can commune with my mom and other family, the cemetary cost will be about 8k they said.

My family has pitched in all they could with the cremation expenses and fees so we have some starting funds and so it seems doable with some help.

If there's any overage it will go to a memorial service for her. Depending on what we raise i will update again with details.

I want to thank you all for being in this journey with us. You've carried us through and now we just need to cross the finish line so I can learn a new normal without caregiving. It was a gift and a honor... and it's taken quite a toll to have been doing it almost 8 years since diagnosis. I'm exhausted but we're almost there. Please help me send my mom off with a beautiful final resting place and a send off celebration of life. Any amount helps. Thank you all so much in advance!
