Medical expenses for Anthony Maida
On Friday, September 25, Anthony suffered a stroke. He was rushed to a local hospital via ambulance. Upon arrival, it was determined that he was in critical condition and the best care for him would be in Boston and he was flown via MedFlight to a hospital in Boston.
He is currently in critical condition, but we are hopeful that the small wins that we have been seeing are signs for a positive recovery. The pandemic has created a new set of policies and procedures in the hospital, but my mom has been able to visit him for an hour each day, and John and I have passed our messages of love and support along via my mom and via phone.
If any of you know my mom or Anthony, you know that they are the first ones to help anybody, but the very last ones to ask for help themselves, which is why I am setting this up. We are unsure of what type of medical bills there will be (so the goal is flexible!) but we all know there will be some medical expenses (Medical bills, has to and from the hospital, parking at the hospital every day, etc.) and overall living expenses (bills, rent, child costs, etc.).
Any amount is helpful, I recognize times are tough right now. We also appreciate if you can keep Anthony in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you to everyone, we all appreciate it so much! And thank you to the nurses and doctors and all hospital staff! We love you all!
