No time like a global crisis to bring everyone together and keep everyone separated. 

Governor Roy Cooper declared on Tuesday that dine-in services are suspended and restaurants are restricted to carry-out and delivery services only, significantly decreasing business. Many people in the service industry live paycheck-to-paycheck and hand-to-mouth, and our crew is no stranger to this way of life.

Here at Linda's we currently have 16 hourly employees, 13 of whom work full time and depend on the generosity of our beloved guests to buy groceries and pay rent each month. Spring is the golden season when we do most of our business and earn enough to save for the summer, when students leave and we annually expect business to slow.

With everyone staying home, as they should, there is very little money coming into Linda's and even less being taken home by its staff members. We ask that you consider the tips you would have been leaving and help us raise the necessary money to keep our staff safely housed and fed.

With this GoFundMe, we are hoping to raise $20,000 to be split evenly amongst our staff members to ensure they can buy food, pay rent and keep the lights on.
