Help Us Get Our Home! Joia and Mabel Need RV by March 1!

Hi! For those who don’t know me, I’m Joia. I am a Restorative Storyteller, Musician, long-time Educator, and single mom of a truly awesome teen daughter.

High housing costs, rising costs of living, and extra long driving distances to school and work have impacted my financial health to such an extreme extent since becoming a single parent (I do not receive spousal or parental support). The cost of housing has become a real and immediate crisis for many in the local community.

We HAVE TO BE OUT of our current home ON MARCH 1st! and have not found an affordable place to rent, nor do our friends or loved ones have space to shelter us at the moment.

✨ But… there is REAL HOPE!! ✨ And that’s what we’re asking for…

I have been offered a place to park an RV on a friend’s private property not too far from my daughter’s school (and one of my places of work.) AND I have just found our dream RV home!! (And I DO mean this—my plan has long been to go “tiny”!)

This little safe space of our own will serve as a base camp for me to start the low cost lifestyle I’ve been seeking to finally catch my breath, pay off my debts, and build a stable and sustainable future for myself and my daughter.

The current owners are aware of our situation and have significantly lowered their asking price, in hopes it might make it possible for us to purchase it. I’ve got a tiny bit I can use for a down payment but I need assistance to come up with the rest AND FAST!! Will you help us get into this home?
