My name is Tashawnia Lawrence. I am starting this GoFundMe for my nephew, Mr. Tommy Williams. He was a victim of the Bourbon Street Incident.
He was hit saving another family member from being hit by a truck.
- He was in ICU for a cracked skull, broken leg, and an injury to his lung. The team at Oschner Jefferson Hospital gave my nephew excellent care. He has had 2 surgeries on his left leg. He has a rod in his left leg because his tibia was in pieces. He is facing a long road ahead of him and lifelong pain mentally and physically.
He has two awesome sons that will suffer because he is a hands-on dad.
This is a senseless attack that has affected many families.
Any assistance that will be used for medical needs, transportation, and daily needs would be greatly appreciated.
I am praying for anyone who this senseless act affected: the families that lost loved ones, injured victims, and those who witnessed this senseless act of evil.
