Help me make a leap for BodyWhys- a cause close to my heart
Dear Friends and Supporters,
I am reaching out today to share something deeply personal and to ask for your support in a cause that has profoundly impacted my life. As some of you know, I’ve struggled with an eating disorder for several years, and though the journey hasn’t been easy, I am proud to say that I am in a much better place today. But my story is not unique, and there are so many others who are still battling in silence.
In an effort to raise awareness, provide support, and help others find the strength they need to overcome their own challenges, I am embarking on an exhilarating and meaningful challenge: a skydive to raise funds for BodyWhys, an organisation dedicated to helping those affected by eating disorders. The charity provides vital support for individuals who need it most, and I want to be part of that positive change.
Eating disorders can often feel isolating, and recovery can be a long and difficult road. Organisations like BodyWhys not only offer help, care and support but also a safe community where people can find hope and the strength to heal. I want to contribute to bringing awareness of this issue that is becoming more prevalent than ever, and I hope that my skydive can inspire others to reach out, get the help they need, and realise that recovery is possible.
To achieve this goal, I need your support! Whether it’s a small donation or simply sharing this campaign with others, every bit helps. I will be doing my skydive on the 18th of May this year, and I would be incredibly grateful for any contribution you can make to help me take this leap of faith, both literally and figuratively.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to providing life-changing resources for those struggling with an eating disorder. I truly believe that together we can make a difference.
Thank you for your support, your belief in me, and for being part of this journey. I’m incredibly grateful for each of you and for the chance to make a positive impact in the lives of so many others.
With gratitude,
Alana xx
