Hi, my name is Lenore Gregory and I have initiated this fundraiser on my brother Michael's behalf. Both Michael and his wife Dee were admitted to the hospital within hours of each other in July of 2021. Michael suffered from a heart attack and a positive COVID diagnosis. Dee suffered from a stroke and a positive COVID diagnosis. Both were in the hospital for a period of time but Dee's condition was so severe that she ended up unresponsive in the ICU. She remained in the hospital for months but had improved to the point where she was undergoing physical therapy. Unfortunately, in January 2022, she was re-diagnosed with COVID, suffered from another stroke, and passed away shortly thereafter. This has been a long and difficult road and I am hoping this campaign will ease their burden even if only in a small way. The funds raised will go directly to Michael and his two children, Mikhia and Talith. The funds will be used for medical expenses and other miscellaneous expenses accrued during the course of both Michael and Dee's hospitalization and illnesses.
