Nico Vosloo is a renowned fine artist who has done animal art, underwater art and helped to create the artwork for the popular learning website, ABCMouse.com
Some years ago, Nico was exhibiting his art in South Africa when he met two blind people who had come with a friend to the exhibition. Nico was struck by the feeling of loss and loneliness of these two blind people at an art exhibition. Ever since that time he has longed to help blind people see the world around them.
Nico is creating these wonderful kits that will allow blind people to feel the world around them that they would otherwise miss. Planned kits include a wide range of animals, maps, landmarks, portraits of famous people, etc. Each image will be sculpted in intricate detail which can then be replicated for the kits.
Your donation will help to cover the expenses for materials and equipment needed for these "Coin Art Kits" and their delivery to schools for the blind. It will also cover the cost of creating a non-profit orgianization so that these kits can be created and sent to blind schools around the world.
