**UPDATE!**
Over the past few days, we learned that Krissy while under intensive care with ECMO, had suffered multiple strokes. Due to the unforeseen circumstances the doctors explained that the treatment was no longer effective and they have exhausted all possibilities. At this point it has been determined to removed her from the supportive machines and allowing her to go peacefully. Please be patient when reaching out to the family during these hard times. All donations will go directly with relieving the financial hardship due to the growing medical expenses, etc.
Please help support Christine (Krissy) and Mike. Christine was admitted to Alaska Regional hospital in Anchorage, AK on Wednesday with pneumonia and congestive heart failure. The doctors at Alaska regional exhausted all their resources but they are limited in what they could do to help Krissy. She was flown out of Anchorage on a life flight to University of Washington on Friday as they feared without immediate care from a facility that is more capable the outcome would not be desirable. Once at UW Krissy was placed on ECMO and life support until the doctors determined that Krissy required a heart valve replacement.
She is currently in a mechanically stable(ECMO) condition and on a ventilator. The road to recovery is still long and arduous. Mike is staying at the University hospitality house. While this is a discounted place for him to stay, the bills will continue to add up as Krissy remains in intensive care. Please help our family in anyway you can. Whether it is a donation or simply sharing this so it reaches as many people as it can.
