Help the Jameson Family Heal ❤️

Hi everyone!

What was meant to be a beautiful family day at the beach in San Diego turned into a heartbreaking tragedy for the Jameson family on their way home. My brother-in-law, Chase, my sister, Brittany, their 3-year-old daughter, and their 11-month-old son were involved in a horrific car accident on the I-8 in California while heading back to Arizona. All four were transported via multiple ambulances to local hospitals.

Thankfully, their baby boy was cleared after evaluation later that evening. Due to hospital rules, Kallen has since been separated from his parents but is being lovingly cared for by family so that Brittany and Chase can remain with Laiken during this critical time. Chase and Brittany both suffered significant pain and bruising, and Brittany, unfortunately, sustained a fractured ankle. However, their 3-year-old daughter was injured the most severely. She has been diagnosed with multiple facial and orbital fractures, as well as trauma and bruising to her brain.

After several days of evaluation, ongoing exams, and repair of head lacerations, she underwent cranial reconstructive surgery. By God’s grace and with the help of an amazing medical team, doctors are hopeful for a full recovery — but it will be a long, challenging journey. She’s a little trooper and is already showing strength and progress each day.

Right now, the family is facing an unknown length of hospital stay in another state, a totaled SUV, and a mountain of medical expenses. Brittany will be unable to return to work while recovering and caring for Laiken. Their focus needs to be entirely on healing and taking care of their children.
