Help the Cornejo Family Beat Cancer

Gilberto Cornejo, and his family have been going through some recent hardships, especially their 16 year old son Gerardo. We would like to start this GoFundMe donation for Gilberto’s family. Gerardo was diagnosed with cancer in his right leg in 2010 and has undergone 10 surgeries since 2010. Over the last few years he has been fighting infections from the surgeries and, as you can imagine, the cost this family has incurred has skyrocketed. Recently, Gerardo has learned that they need to amputate his right leg at the knee. Not only the medical bills continue to add up but the cost of a prosthetic leg is $15,000-$40,000.  I know I would want the best for my son to give him the best possible chance to live a quality life.  During all of this, Gilberto still shows up to work and does a great job and has been a great co-worker through all the ups and downs he has experienced with the health of his son.  Please think about your family when you consider donating.  I ask you to please share with your family and friends and put the link on any of your social media.
