Hi everyone,

My name is Ara, and I’m raising funds for the Banner family, a family of 7. They have been displaced multiple times since the destruction of their home (pictured above). The Banner family has been subjected to famine, displacement, severe injury, lack of proper medical treatment, loss of family and friends, and much more. Suhad Jawdat Arafat and Hatem Rabhi Banner, parents to Arwa, Jasser, Ibrahim, Muhammad, and Eileen, have lost their source of income since the start of the ongoing genocide. Suhad owned her own design company before the war, making her job a main source of income for their family. Now out of a job, workplace, and home, they need as much financial help as they can get to not only support their efforts to leave Gaza but to support their children’s current needs as they undergo medical issues during their day-to-day lives.

Ibrahim (14 years old) suffers from Chronic Muscular Dystrophy. They were displaced from their home without his wheelchair, without any of his treatments, and any of the life necessities that he needs to live without pain. Medical care in Gaza is currently not only limited but very expensive. And the level of care he needs is inaccessible to them under these horrific conditions. He hasn’t been getting the level of treatment he needs since before getting displaced.

Arwa Banner (18 years old) is a very talented high school student. She was in her senior year of high school before October 7th. Now she has taken on the responsibility of helping her parents take care of her younger siblings while also trying to continue her studies. Arwa has yet to graduate from high school. It is her dream to continue her education abroad. Arwa is also in need of inaccessible medical care, as she was injured in a bombing that gave her a head injury and broke her wrist.

Jasser Banner (16 years old) is also a high school student, who has been unable to continue his education under these horrible conditions.

Muhammad and Eileen, children who have seen horrors no child deserves to live. They have been subjected to displacement multiple times, and they are no more than ten years old.

We want to thank you for all the generosity, prayers, and love that has been shown to the Banner family. Please share their story, and continue to support. God bless.
