Help Support Elijah and His Family

Dear Friends and Community (on behalf of Marcus Tolela),

I am reaching out today with a heavy heart to share the story of a brave little boy named Elijah and his family, who are in urgent need of our support. At just three years old, Elijah has spent the past two weeks in the hospital battling a severe infection that has become increasingly complex. Despite the doctors' best efforts, Elijah has undergone multiple blood transfusions and emergency surgeries. Tragically, a nurse's error resulted in an overdose that caused him to suffer cardiac arrest, placing him at risk for permanent liver damage.

Elijah's condition has worsened, with the infection spreading to his bones, leaving him unable to walk. During this incredibly challenging time, his father, Marcus, has been by his side at the hospital 24/7, unable to work and provide for the family. Meanwhile, friends have stepped in to care for Elijah's siblings, including his non-verbal autistic twin brother, who needs special attention and support.

The family is facing the daunting pressure of mounting medical bills, the loss of income, and the need for daycare for the children. We are reaching out to our community, asking for any help you can provide to support Elijah and his family during this difficult time.
