Legacy of Legends is a registered Charity who take on Elite sport horses after they retire, keeping these beautiful horses in the public eye helps to show the importance of caring for older horses once their careers are over, the otherside of what we do is less glamorous but equally as rewarding and special we take on other abandoned and neglected elderly horses. We only take horses who are at the end of their natural lives, we give them a warm home and lots of love so the remainder of their days are comfortable and they have dignified and respectful last day.
CANTHO Z is a horse who needed Legacy of Legends , by supporting us you will have directly helped us facilitate his safe move to France so he can enjoy his much deserved retirement, you will also be helping us keep all the Legends in the comfort that they deserve. The more support we have the more we can expand and offer this much needed service to other elderly horses.
CINDERELLA is a horse who found her self on the Belgium border waiting to enter the meat trade, She had a very special career and has mothered many offspring, with your donations we were able to drive through the night a pick her up and let her retire here with the other Legends. Sadly Cinders is one of many who through no fault of their own find themselves in this situation, We hope with your donations to help others like her but also ask the right questions to the people who can make a difference, we know these horses deserve more and we will push this forward as far as we can to put legislation in place to stop it.
Legacy of Legends also through the use of social media and working closely with private owners we keep other legends who are not resident in the public eye. If you have a legend we would love to hear from you.

If you choose to donate to us you will be changing the life for some very special horses, horses who without legacy of legends would suffer a less fortunate end. We will continue to push our passion for old horses and make sure that every elderly equine that crosses our path is given the most loved and dignified end.
