Support Charlie's Life-Saving Treatment

Monday evening around dinner time we noticed Charlie, our sweet 37” Mini Lesson Horse struggling, laying down and rolling in severe pain. We watched him closely that evening and hoped he would feel better on his own, giving him medication to help his pain .

Tuesday morning he had not improved and we trailered him straight to the Veterinarian. They took his blood and started tests right away. After a full exam it was discovered he had an infection, impaction, enlarged stomach and was severely dehydrated. Hospitalization was necessary so they could safe his life.We are deep in this journey financially and our hearts are broken watching him fight so hard. He is an absolute favorite boy here at SaddleUp Pony Academy of Spokane. He had given hundreds of rides and his gentle sweetness has changed the lives of all the kiddos that have come in contact with him. He is only 14 yrs old and has many years ahead of him to give to our special program here. Please consider helping him in his recovery.
