My Family Is Struggling to Survive

Wateen is only four years old. Her world has been torn apart by war. Her family has lost everything—again and again—and now they are living in tents near the shore, where no plants grow, no clean water flows, and no safety exists.
Wateen’s brothers—Omar, Ali, and Mahmoud—once planted small crops to help the family find something to eat. But even that little patch of hope was destroyed. Her sisters, Mariam and Mehad, helped bake bread on a wooden fire when there was no gas or oven. Her mother stood strong, even after losing her home, guiding them through displacement after displacement. And her father worked day and night to deliver clean water to others in need, even when he had none for his own children.
On the left, my father with the water truck. On the right Wateen trying to help out!
Here are my younger brothers Ali and omar with their small farm that they grow in front of the rubbles of our destroyed home.
Now, they are all trapped.
This family has fought to survive with dignity. But they cannot do it alone anymore.
We are raising funds to help them cross the border once it’s open—into safety, into life.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings them closer to freedom.
Closer to a future where Wateen can grow up safe, and her siblings can dream again.
Please share. Please support.
Help get them out before it’s too late.
This is baby Wateen before war in our lost home.
