On the evening of the 30th of March 2020 Rebecca, Lee and their two dogs were working in a small workshop on the property they rent. They live in the Airstream trailer that they have spent the last 3 years renovating. Rebecca returned to the Airstream on her own and discovered a fire had broken out inside. Arriving early enough she was able to put the fire out before it managed to destroy their entire home. Although functioning smoke detectors were installed, the workshop they were working in was not within hearing distance. The fire melted structural panels and insulation, destroyed the air conditioning unit and fans, melted the wiring and lights, stripped and melted paint and smoke damaged all their belongings.

Unfortunately since the rise of COVID-19 the tattoo studio which employed them both has closed leaving them without income since March. Although they have the workshop to sleep in for now, there is no running water and nowhere to store and prepare food. They would like to start rebuilding the trailer as soon as possible. They are not looking to replace everything, just want to get the place livable again.
We really want to get Rebecca and Lee back in their home. If you are able to help during this time please show your support by making a donation or sharing this fundraiser.
If you would like to support in another way please visit Rebecca and Lee on Instagram where they are both making unique art pieces available for purchase.
