Help Save Portreath Pre-School
This little pre-school has been at the heart of our village for generations. With an Ofsted Outstanding rating and a team of dedicated staff who care deeply for every child, it has been a trusted cornerstone of our community.
But now, this beloved pre-school is at risk of closing.
How Your Donation Helps:
Every penny raised will go directly to staff wages, ensuring that the incredible team can continue providing excellent care. While we as trustees have already cut costs, applied for grants, and planned for long-term sustainability, we need short-term help to keep the pre-school running.
If we can raise £2,600, this will cover wages for January, allowing the pre-school to survive until the next batch of government funding arrives. However, to secure the long-term future of the pre-school, we need £10,000 to relieve the pressure of constant fundraising and grant applications, which may not always yield results.
If Portreath Pre-School closes, there are no nearby alternatives. Families will struggle, staff will lose their jobs, and our village will lose a truly special resource.
We have a long-term plan in place. We just need to get through the next few months.
