Help with bills while Husband is unable to work.

On the evening of June 21st, while working as a Behavioral Health Technician at a group home for troubled teen boys my 68 year old husband was brutally assaulted and left for dead. The 5 assailants threw a blanket over his head, tied a belt around his neck, pulled him to the ground by that belt and one of them stood on his neck while pulling on the belt in an attempt to strangle him while they all began stomping, kicking and slugging him in the head and other parts of his body repeatedly, resulting in his suffering numerous facial fractures, (including a broken nose, jaw and eye socket area requiring reconstructive surgery), bleeding traumatic brain injuries, kidney damage, injured fingers, psychological damages, and other ongoing medical issues. The attack was completely unnecessary as they admittedly just wanted to kill him to buy themselves a 30 minute head start on the escape they were planning. Note: The group home where this transpired has no physical barriers or impediments to stop them from escaping. If they wanted to go they could have simply walked out but they felt that by killing him it would be quite awhile before his body would be discovered and they would have plenty of time to steal a car, (which they did), and make good their escape undetected. 4 of the 5 have since been captured and are being tried as adults. One is still at large. Because of his severe injuries my husband can not work and has amassed huge medical bills and lots of Doctor and specialist appointments. Although he has filed a case with Workman's Comp we still have not received anything from them. Even if the Workman's comp case is successful they will only pay 2/3 of his salary at best. Because my husband is the primary breadwinner of our family and because of his not being able to work for possibly many more months we are unable to keep up with our ongoing rent, bills and living expenses. My husband is very well known and respected in our community and is usually the first one to offer help when needed but this time it is we who need the help. Please consider donating any amount you can to help us get through this ordeal.
