Our lives were upended by the horrors of war that descended upon us last October. In a single moment, our once peaceful existence was shattered as our city, along with all its vital infrastructure and resources, was destroyed by the merciless hands of conflict. Now, we find ourselves displaced, living in tents on the cold streets, stripped of the basic necessities of life. My beautiful family, including my wife, my son Muhammad, my elderly mother suffering from severe joint pain in urgent need of joint replacement surgery, my 68-year-old father, and my younger sister, are all enduring immense suffering. The journey to safety is fraught with obstacles, especially considering the exorbitant costs of crossing the Rafah border in these dire times. We are in desperate need of assistance to rebuild our lives, including medical expenses, food, and shelter. Your support would make an immeasurable difference in our lives during these trying times.
