Hi everyone, my name is Ramisa, and I’m asking for help to cover the cost of emergency surgery for my sweet cat, Evu.

These past couple of days have been a whirlwind of stress, sleepless nights, and emotional exhaustion. Evu had surgery last year for bladder stones and has been on a special diet ever since. Despite all our efforts, he started straining to urinate and began passing blood, I rushed him to the ER, where we were told he had a urinary obstruction which is a life-threatening condition - and only had 24 to 36 hours to live if we don’t undergo a catheter procedure.

That emergency visit was already incredibly costly ($4000), but sadly, the procedure didn’t work. Just a few days later, Evu was blocked again. He was in constant distress, going to the litter box every two minutes, trying to pee but unable to. It hurt so badly seeing him like that.

The only option to save his life now was a surgery called perineal urethrostomy, which he’s now undergone. Thankfully, the surgery went well, but he has to stay at the vet for 10 days for recovery and monitoring.

Between the ER, hospital stay, surgery, and post-op care, the total cost has been far more than I ever imagined (upwards of $7000). Evu turned 10 this year and Ive had him since his birth. He is the sweetest cat ever and i would do anything to save his life.

Evu is strong, he’s fighting every day, and he still has so much life and love left to give. If you’re able to help, whether by donating or sharing this, it would mean the world to me and to him.
