HELP ME to buy a safe wheelchair car for my family

Hi

my name is Carol and I had a major stroke when I was 38 weeks pregnant and the baby and I weren’t expected to survive and that was in 2015 when I had just turned 40 five months earlier.

I am now severely disabled and in a wheelchair , I am vision impaired and I have a major speech impediment.

This is where I need your help! ❤️

My NDIS will pay for the car modifications but not for the car itself and they can’t do any modifications on the car if it is more than 5 years old so I got a quote for the Kia Carnival and it was $50,000 which I just can’t afford and it’s getting harder and harder on my knees to get into the passenger seat of my car , not to mention the strain it is putting on my partner’s back getting me in and out of the car and having to fold and dismantle my wheelchair to be able to put it in the boot.

It would be sooo much easier for both of us if he could just wheel me in the car

We recently went and looked at a second hand wheelchair car for me but there wasn’t a seat in it for my daughter (see photo) so I thought that I would just try my luck on here ❤️
