Hi everyone! As many of you know, my incredible mom, Heather, is still working hard everyday recovering from her brain surgery in June 2021. She is now walking with a walker and assistance from 1-2 other people at all times.

One of her goals is to get to walk for Sara’s wedding this year. Her physical therapist found this “walking wheelchair” that she was able to try out in therapy. It will provide a safe way for her to walk independently without being afraid of falling.

Unfortunately, insurance will not pay for it so it will be an out of pocket expense of $4,000. We want to make this happen because we all know Mama Sloan is worth every cent! We thought we would see if my mom’s friends and family would be willing to pitch in to help her reach her goal of walking on her own again.
