Hi. My name is Lily and I am in year 8 at school. I am fundraising for a once in a lifetime trip to Costa Rica volunteering to work in poor communities and to get involved with environmental improvement projects - I would really appreciate your support in helping me get to my funding target. 

My trip will be for 4 weeks in July 2026. The trip is organised through my school and to take part I have a fund raising target of £5500 for the trip.

I am actively fundraising in multiple ways, making cakes to sell each week at my weekend football matches, child sitting, washing cars, selling items to recycle them and I have an event planned to walk up Snowdon in the summer.

I would be so grateful for any donation and support that you can provide to help me meet my funding target for this amazing opportunity.

The beautiful and biodiverse remote rainforest of Costa Rica will become your home on this exciting expedition. We will be working alongside conservationists to protect the natural environment and discover this beautiful country.

We will get back to nature and experience living in the heart of the rainforest, where monkeys and toucans will be our closest neighbours. Working alongside local people, we will learn about innovative and sustainable solutions to environmental issues and we will get involved in inspiring projects to support the environment, wildlife and community.
