Help Lay Isabella To Rest
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
With heavy hearts, we share that on June 19, 2024, we lost our beloved Isabella. At just 18, Isabella was taken from us far too soon by a blood platelet illness we all worked tirelessly to manage.
She was a bright light in all our lives--a dream daughter and granddaughter. As her grandfather Ezequiel shared, 'era una estrella fugaz que vino a mi vida [she was a shooting star who came into my life]' and everyone who knew and loved her felt the same way about her. We were each blessed by her smile, her generosity, helpfulness, and strong spirit. Even in dealing with the illness she endured for the last two years, she never complained or asked 'why me?', even when treatments were painful and difficult to bear. She suffered a great deal but continued to shine bright until the very end.
Isabella battled her illness for 2 years and though she is gone, she has not lost this fight. On June 19, 2024, she finally won her battle. She won like everything else she did in life because her illness is no longer hurting or controlling her. She is now free.
In this difficult time, we are reaching out to our community for support. We aim to raise $20,000 to cover the costs of her funeral and memorial services, ensuring we can give Isabella a beautiful and heartfelt farewell.
Why We Need Your Help
The suddenness of Isabella's passing has left us unprepared for the expenses involved in laying her to rest.
The costs include:
- Funeral service and viewing
- Burial or cremation expenses
- Memorial service arrangements
- Other related costs like food so we can gather to honor her memory.
About Isabella
Isabella had a soul beyond her years. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with and always willing to lend a helping hand. She was in her senior year at Sandia High School in Albuquerque, NM. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. She was a perfect daughter.

Final Words
We will miss Isabella tremendously for the rest of our lives but we are immensely grateful for the love and support we have already received during this heartbreaking time. Your generosity will help us honor Isabella's memory and celebrate the life she lived.
Thank you for helping us give Isabella the send-off that will put our hearts at peace. She will forever be our 18-year-old baby girl and we will continue to be guided by her light which still shines so bright in our hearts.
With gratitude,
Ana Martinez-Collins and Family
