Hello My name is Emma 

I am fundraising today for my spouse who has just recently lost his leg due to complications of diabetes. He has fought this battle for 9 long years where he has lost his ability to swim, snowboard, and many other activities he loves to do. Most importantly he has lost time with our children Yuuki (9), Archer (18), and Lucian (21). 

 I want to raise money to help Jason gain back his freedom and mobility. What I have discovered is there is a large amount of unexpected expenses that come with a lower leg amputation. While our medical insurance and the province help out it is not nearly enough to cover the massive financial investment involved. 

 The first and most immediate things we need help with is a wheelchair manual or electric, a walker, a prosthetic leg, and year or more of Physio therapy. 

 There is also the multiple adjustments to the house like the bathrooms, room for the wheelchair to move, ramps, and many more things.

 Lastly there are modifications to the truck to allow Jason to be more independent getting in and out of the truck and accessing his wheelchair when he is by himself.
