Help injured stray and her babies.

Hi, My name is Amie. I am raising funds for a beautiful stray cat and her kittens. She was found injured, with her collar deeply embedded into her armpit and chest. She is looking at months of recovery.

I'll start from the beginning. My cat bluebell went missing, 3 weeks and no sign of her. I recieved a call on the evening of 03.05.25, from a number claiming to of found my cat. I asked to be sent a photo, however it isn't my missing pet. The caller continues to say this cat is pregnant and has babies.

I was sent a video of poor quality with what appeared to be a in the dark, along with a live location. I didn't know this person from adam, and the live location was a derelict building. I gathered up two of my closest people and headed there.

On arrival, a large group of workers led us into a derelict house undergoing construction. It was pitch black inside, raining and scary to say the least. Using my phone as a torch, I shone it into the darkness. Up the corner, I could make out the shape of a small bundle. I got closer and could see a cat curled into a ball.

She had 5 baby kittens with her, one of whom had already sadly passed. I tried to lift momma cat and my nose was hit with this horrendous smell, and my hands were covered in puss and blood. I immediately took off my coat, wrapped her up and asked the workers for something to put the kittens inside to transport to my car and headed straight to a vet.

Her collar had embedded into her leg, chest and armpit. At some point she had gotten her front leg through the collar and got stuck. She had to spend the night at the vets undergoing treatment and having the collar removed, her wounds cleaned and made to feel comfortable.

I collected her the following day and brought her home where she continues to be cared for round the clock alongside her babies. Sadly one of the 4 surviving kittens passed away, and she now only has 3 remaining. She has a long road ahead of her, and I dread to think the outcome had I not responded to the call.

I will be creating a tik tok account of her journey, and I'm hoping kind people in this world will help me towards the costs of saving her and her kittens.

The money will go on future vet bills, food, supplies etc.

UPDATE 28.05.24

Today has involved another vet appointment, costing me a little over £70 for medications as Lucky as we've nicknamed her, has ear mites and loose stool which she has had since finding her. She is on ear drops, and has some prebiotic to help harden her poop. She is well on the way to making a recovery, however I am yet to pay for her spaying, kitten packs for the kittens (health checks, full course of vaccinations, microchipping). Any help towards the bills I am facing, the food and litter of keeping them off the streets I would highly appreciate.

One of the kittens also has a congenital deformity and may or may not need xrays when he is older depending on whether wrapping his legs, and doing physiotherapy 3 times a day is enough to prevent him needing surgery.
