Help Honor Fire Boat History in Print
Donation protected
Updated Saturday May 10th, 2025
The Edward M Cotter fire boat will celebrate it's 125th year in 2025. My project is to compile and tell the stories of valor that are the keystone of this boat's reputation. The name of the book is "Fire Boat - Stories of Maritime Valor"
I am in need of further research trips to Buffalo, New York from New Jersey, and have a deadline for books in hand of September 15. Writing a book has been my dream since I was 12 years old. I believe this will be the crown jewel of over three decades in emergency services across my lifetime.
Your donation will help offset the cost of final research and travel. No use of donations will be made for any other purpose than to facilitate my travel to Buffalo, New York specifically for research for this book, nor will donations be used to offset expenses already incurred. Donations may be used to help finance the first printing if necessary, but any remaining donated funds as of September 15th, 2025 will be passed along to the E.M. Cotter Conservancy of Buffalo New York in the name of "Supporters of the book "Fire Boat - Stories of Maritime Valor".
I plan to publish through Amazon, and a hard cover and a Kindle version will be available.
Here is a link to my blog which will have some excerpts from the book. This entry is the Foreword, the dedication, and a note from the author (me)
Thank you for your interest and support!
