Hey, I’m Zack.

On October 22nd, my e-bike was stolen from school—even though it was locked up. I thought it was safe, but I learned a tough lesson: you can’t always trust people, even when you do everything right. It hit me hard. That bike wasn’t just how I got around—it was my freedom. It helped me hang out with friends, explore new places, and clear my head.

I’ve lived in Santee my whole life, and I’ve always felt safe here. I don’t want to lose trust in my city because of a few bad people who made a selfish choice.

Since the bike was stolen, I’ve felt stuck. My motivation’s dropped, and I haven’t felt like myself. I’m sad, angry, and honestly disappointed that someone would take something so important to me. It was a hard lesson to learn—that even when you lock something up and think it’s safe, not everyone respects that.

This fundraiser is my chance to get back out there—back on the trails, back with my friends, and back to feeling good again. Every donation helps, and I’m truly grateful for any support, big or small.
