Help fund Sandra’s trip to Colombia

Hello everyone!

If you don’t already know me, let me let me introduce myself, my name is Sandra Czech. I have been playing hockey for the past 33 years and had the opportunity to play Division I College Ice Hockey at Minnesota State University from 2000 to 2003. In the past three and a half years I have slowly made the transition from ice to inline hockey. I have met so many great skaters and people along the way thus far. With that being said, it is such an honor to announce that I have been recently selected to play for the Pan American National Development USA Team that will represent the USA at the 2024 Pan American Inline Hockey Nations Championships in Ibague, Colombia August 1st to August 7, 2024.

The official team announcement has not been released yet but in seeing that the team currently does not have any main sponsors that covers all the costs to participate we have been given the green light to start reaching out now for assistance, especially since some of the funds are due soon.

One might ask, why do you need help? Aren't the costs covered? Sadly, no. Although there have been great strides in the game of women's hockey, we still seem to have trouble finding main sponsors that can cover the costs for opportunities like this so players can be worry free about the financial burden of wanting to play hockey and getting the opportunity to represent our great country. Until we can find sponsors that are willing to step up, players are asked to split the costs for entry fee, hotel, and transportation. In addition, we are also required to pay for our own flights and meals as well.

With getting selected to a team of this magnitude, I would hate to let the chance to represent our country pass me by, which is why I am reaching out for donations to help cover the costs. If anyone out there is interested in more than just helping me out individually and would like to help the entire team with a larger donation or even sponsorship, please reach out to me. Providing this help, truly means the world to me, and I know it would mean the world to the other players as well.
