Memorial for Sebastian Meyer

Only 3 days beyond a year since his lymphoma diagnosis, E. Sebastian Meyer (Bachi to his Mom and SeaBass to his bandmates) has died today.
His family was seeking treatment for him at BioCare Hospital & Welless Center in Tijuana, Mexico. He had some improvement from the treatments until today. In a matter of hours, his health took a downward turn this morning and he died this afternoon. Now the family must wait while they get him cremated before they return home to Tucson.
This is not how any of this was supposed to play out. Parents aren't supposed to bury their children. He was just 20 years old. He was supposed to play that new trombone in his YOUTube video (https://youtu.be/v2UCHPg5uVA)
Sebastian overcame much in his two-decade life here on Earth. Living with Asperger's Syndrome, he was well-known as a huge trivia buff and also loved Nascar. His favorite driver was Tony Stewart. He graduated from high school two years ago and then played in the U of A Pride of Arizona Marching Band as a trombonist. One of the highlights of his life was playing for the Fiesta Bowl.
He will always be remembered for his clever wit, his one-of-a kind smile, and his kind heart. He leaves behind his father, Ed, his mother, Adriana, his younger brother, Marco, and his beloved Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix, Debbie. Sebastian's spirit is free and he is in no more pain. Fly with the angels, Bachi, and look down on us from time to time.
