My name is Edy, and I am starting this fundraiser to help my friend get help to support her family and get the proper care for her loving young son and pay for his oncology diagnosis and treatment.

She is a single mother of 2, and life has not always been easy for her. She has struggled for years to find and keep employment because of her disability, but things only seem to worsen. Since the news of her son, she has been in a whirlwind of emotion and stress. She has always been the sole source of income for her household, and with the little that she makes, she has managed to keep a roof over their head and food on the table. However, the news of her son has shattered her world, and working (She drives Uber) has not been easy for her. Unfortunately, she is facing eviction for failure to pay her rent.
