Please help the Dayton family be able to rebuild their home. Their home of 17 years was a victim of the Beachie Creek Fire in the last few days. Anyone that knows Tom and Tana knows they are an important part of the Santiam Family. Tom was a volunteer firefighter for years with Santiam District helping many and only stopped to move to a full time job with ODOT in which he still helps many. He is often out clearing the roads to keep the pass safe no matter what the hour is.
Tana works in health care at the Santiam Hospital and in the past for Stayton Family Practice that helps to serve the community. She has gotten to know the people that come in as if they were friends and family.
Recently their oldest son moved back to the canyon with his fiance. They were staying with them until they could purchase a place of their own in the community.
Both Tana and Tom are members of the Sublimity Harvest Festival Family and have 3 kids that grew up in the Canyon 2 graduating from Santiam High. Samantha Quinton class of 2014 and Michael Dayton class of 2016 just as they both did Tana class of 1998, Tom class of 1993 and their youngest is currently enrolled there and will continue to keep that family tradition graduating class of 2024.
This Go Fund Me page is to ask for help in them rebuilding their home in the community that has meant so much to them over the years. They have always loved living here and supporting their community and I am hoping by setting up this page we are able to help support them in their time of need and show them the same love and support they have showed so many others. This family is not just rebuilding a house they will be rebuilding a HOME.
