*UPDATE:

On Thursday June 26, 2025 my dad lost his battle with cancer and critical illness complications caused by the cancer. The fluid build up in his organs became malignant, the cancer already in stage 4 spread quickly throughout his stomach, intestines, colon, heart, and lungs. Along with all of that, his kidneys started to not respond to dialysis anymore. After the ventilator was removed, he passed away ten minutes later surround by myself, his spouse Melynda, his mother Veronica and other family members.

In this time of heartbroken grief we are now asking for donations to help fund his cremation and funeral services. Every single dollar shared is another step towards giving the end of my father's life the celebration he deserves. Thank you all tremendously.

My dad is currently fighting for his life in the ICU in Duluth, MN. He is sedated, intubated, and battling severe complications from pneumonia, including fluid in his lungs and heart, along with acute kidney failure requiring dialysis. We’ve just learned that all of this is in fact being caused by cancer.

This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family. Dad’s condition is critical and could change at any moment. The hospital is over three hours away from where most of our family lives, which means travel has become emotionally and financially overwhelming already.

We’re asking for help to cover the cost of travel, lodging, food, and related expenses so that our family—especially my grandma and stepmom—can be by his side during this time. Every dollar helps bring us closer to him when he needs us most.
