A wonderful husband and father as well as the most fun-loving loyal friend, to know Doug Thompson is to love him. He is always there for all of us and now he needs us to be there for him. After being diagnosed with throat cancer in December, he was all set to begin treatment but last Thursday he suffered a severe stroke. He is stable and responsive and, in true Doug fashion, the first thing he said was a certain four letter word that rhymes with duck. It’s been a tough couple of years for everyone but if you are able to help out at all with the expenses of his rehabilitation it would be much appreciated. The road to recovery will be long and hard but we will be there with him every step of the way until we hear that big booming laugh again!
