DMV Prime Elite Girls flag football team, a groundbreaking initiative that is empowering young girls in the Washington, DC area through sports.

As a former flag football player, I noticed a significant void in opportunities for young girls to participate in this amazing sport. My daughter, who has been on the sidelines of my games for the past eight years, expressed a strong desire to play, but there were no teams available for her age group. Determined to create a space for her and other girls in our community, I founded the DMV Prime Elite Girls 8u flag football team. Our team, consisting of girls aged 7, 8, 9, and 10 is the first of its kind in the in the city. While there are other girls' teams in the region, they cater to older age groups, primarily teenagers. We are proud to be pioneers in providing this opportunity for younger girls to develop their skills, build confidence, and foster a love for the game.

DMV Prime Elite 10u l team has recently qualified to participate in the Junior Olympic games held in Des Moines, Iowa AND the Under Armour World Cup games in Toronto, Canada featuring the top teams in the country. These events will be held in July and August of 2026, respectfully.
