Hello! My name is Deven, with my son Mason and our three beloved fur babies, Beanie Weanie, Bella, and Brinley, are seeking financial support to help with our current living expenses until we're back on our feet.

A little background: we moved back in with my parents while they were undergoing chemotherapy. Unfortunately, my dad had advanced liver disease, and my mom had stage IV metastatic endometrial cancer. They were high school sweethearts, married for 60 years, and tragically passed away within 20 months of each other. During that 20 months my dad's dog Bodie died four days after my dad died and my mom's dog died two weeks later. Two months after the death of my mom, my emotional support dog died while out playing catch with my son. His larynx collapsed and he lost the ability to breathe. With the amount of loss that I had over a two year period sent me into a deep depression and devastating grief that lasted three and a half years.

During this time, I struggled with isolation and underwent a journey of self-discovery. I also had bilateral shoulder replacement surgeries, one of which didn't take very well. The ligament connecting my bicep to my shoulder atrophied, there is nothing to hold the shoulder together causing it to dislocate easily. My career as a professional cosmetologist is over due to the limited mobility and I'm trying to find a job with minimal shoulder movementl. I do have an appointments with my doctor to discuss options of repair or permanent disability.

The bills are piling up. Two of my dogs require daily medication, Bella has a torn knee with arthritis and without her medication she can barely walk, the vet said he could perform surgery to help her walk/run again. I have elected to just give her medication versus having surgery becauseof the cost. Brinley has an allergies and needs special food and medication. I cannot purchase their medicine or their food.

I'm reaching out to the community for assistance, hoping to cover a couple of months' worth of expenses while we search for new jobs. Any support would be deeply appreciated.
